Venue: LCVS | 3rd Sector Resource Centre

Date & Time: Friday, 24th February 2012, 9.30am (for 10am start) - 4pm

An opportunity to explore how new ways of working, inspired by social media and network technology can help third sector organisations to survive and even thrive.

Designed as an ideas exchange it will bring together Third Sector leaders with specialists from the world of digital and social media, inviting discussion that moves beyond the technology to explore social outcomes and opportunities in the digital age.

It will also allow specialists from the world of digital and social media to understand the key issues facing the third sector and provide an opportunity to explore opportunities for collaboration and shared thinking.

This event is an opportunity to move beyond the technology to talk about outcomes and activities in the networked society.

Some of the benefits from new ways of working in the digital age include the ability to:

    • more vividly demonstrate  impact;
    • raise resource from a wider community;
    • build engaged, networked communities; and
    • deliver services to end users more efficiently.

SOCIALxCHANGE will start with a panel of   inspirational speakers, (to be announced soon) who will ignite an imaginative dialogue of ideas for service design, collaboration and widening participation using digital networks.

The agenda for the remainder of the day will be set by the participants, ensuring lots of opportunity for discussion and engagement, sharing of experience and insight and the generation of new ideas.

We'll set the ball rolling, the rest is up to you!
